Monstera Karsteniana / Peru
Delivery in early October
The Monstera Peru commonly known as Karstenianum is a very rare but fast growing plant belonging to the Aroideae, a subfamily of flowering plants in the family Araceae. It has iridescent, dramatically wrinkled leaves that are unusually stiff. When grown on a totem, larger, healthier growth can be expected. It is an epiphytic plant so it will climb or hang. It depends on if you put a guard on it or if you let the leaves fall. Important! Do not cut the aerial roots, they serve to climb and also to absorb nutrients from the environment.
☀️🌤️ illumination
Light : Bright place, with indirect light. It tolerates semi-shade (medium indirect light), but will grow more slowly and its leaves will be smaller. Avoid direct sun if you don't want its leaves to burn.
